she worked as Director Health Services Chandigarh Administration in 2016.During this tenure, she also worked as the Drug Controller, Assistant Commissioner Food Safety and Appropriate Authority PCPNDT. After retirement, she have been reemployed by the Chandigarh Health Department as Project Director, Chandigarh State AIDS Control Society wherein I am continuing to work till date. I am also continuing attending to Dermatology Patients in the Dermatology Department GMSH-16 every Thursday and Friday. 
After joining service in Punjab Civil Medical Services in 1982, she have worked in the Punjab Medical Services in various capacities starting as Medical Officer in Primary Health Centres. Later, as Incharge Department of Dermatology, Venereology, Leprology since 1992 till December 2007, she was also the State Leprosy Officer. I handled the Department of Dermatology in GMSH-16 and attended to an OPD of approximately 200 – 250 patients daily, single handedly. As SMO Incharge National HIV/AIDS Control Programme where she was posted in December 2007, the prevalence of HIV and STI has declined markedly in UT Chandigarh. she continued to attend to the Dermatology OPD once/twice a week in addition to my administrative duties.
