Archana Mishra is Doctorate in Hospital Management with emphasis on Human Resource management, Communication, Quality for service Industry (hospitals). She has 15 years of experience in Administration and Training, which includes Consultation, Research and Mentoring. She is a certified trainer (Dip “TD”) from Indian Society for Training and Development, New Delhi.
She turned to academics in 2009 after 5 years of experience in services industry with leading hospitals at Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai as Trainer for soft skills and Art of Hospitality. She joined MGM Group as Assistant Professor in management and completed her Doctorate in parallel in 2014.
She advocates for experiential learning. She handled many students’ research assignment based on Hospital Administration and Design Thinking (CCL, USA) from leading companies like Richfeel, Da-Milano, ADOR Multi Products, Ziqitza Health care etc. As a Faculty In-charge for e-cell of the institute, she mentored a team of 22 students, which won IIT Bombay-National Entrepreneurship Challenges 2015 and 3rd prize in 2016 among 300 colleges. She was also Faculty in-charge for International Tour to China (9 Industries: Volkswagen, Shanghai Electrics, and Lenovo etc.).
Currently, she is Associate Professor for Hospital Administration at MGM School of Biomedical Sciences a constituent unit of MGM Institute of Health Sciences and also Admin officer (Quality and HR) at MGM Medical College and Hospitals, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai. In addition, she is part of Institute for Future Education and Entrepreneurship and Leadership, Lonavala as consultant for Accreditation and Excellence. She is a visiting faculty for Business Communication at ICFAI Business School and Health Economics for Pune University and Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune.
Her Area of Interest includes Hospital Administration, Business Communication, Service Marketing, Relationship Marketing. She mentors PG and PhD Students of hospital management and have many research publications in her credit.
