Dr. Virendra Kappal, President, API-Gujarat welcomed all the panelists and participants. Dr. Virendra Kappal welcomed all the panelists and participants and also thanked Mylan Pharmaceuticals Private Ltd, a Viatris company for making the webinar a success. Dr. Kappal then shared his insights on the COVID19 situation in Chandigarh and measures that have been taken to manage the surge.
Module 3: Recent updates to laboratory diagnoses: CHD. (00:12:22 - 00:44:20)
Dr. Sameeksha Saxena Lamba welcomed Dr. Mini P. Singh to speak on the topic: Recent updates to laboratory diagnoses: CHD. Dr. Mini P. Signh started her session by thanking Dr. Kappal and Dr. Mathur for this opportunity. Dr. Singh began her talk by speaking about how the testing used to be done in 2020. She then went on to share the importance of testing for COVID19.
Various diagnostics tests were explained by Dr. Mini Singh in detail. The difference between the various tests; Molecular test, Antigen test and Antibody test were shared in-depth. She also explained how to make the correct diagnosis and the ideal PT-PCR test in detail. Dr. Mini P. Singh also covered the CT value and the variants of concern during her session.
In all, the session was very knowledgeable and very well explained.
Module 4: Clinical management of COVID-19 (00:44:20 - 01:26:32)
Dr. Sameeksha Saxena Lamba welcomed Dr. Aditya Jindal to take the session ahead and speak on the topic: Clinical management of COVID-19.
Dr. Jindal started his session by welcoming all the panelists and the participants.

All the topics were covered in-depth and were very well explained.

The moderator for the day, Dr. Honey Sawhney moderated the various questions that were asked by the participants throughout the session. All the questions were answered by the speakers. It was an extremely interactive session.
