• Professor in the Department of Virology, PGIMER Chandigarh and has been working in this field for nearly 2 decades.
• PGIMER has been designated as the mentor institute by ICMR for establishing COVID 19 testing in the adjoining states of Punjab, Haryana, HP, Uttarakhand, and UT and working in the capacity of Principal Coordinator for the same.
• Nodal Officer for COVID testing for 2 lakh patients till now in the institute and is carrying out COVID testing for the Tricity of Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Mohali.
• A part of the Rapid Response Team of the UT administration and Coronavirus committee of the Institute.
• Helped in the establishment of protocols for sample collection, transportation and processing to her laboratory.

• In-charge of WHO Measles and Rubella Serology Lab and Viral Hepatitis Lab in the Department of Virology.
