Dr. Maneesha Shrivastava did her MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and thereafter went to do M.S. Gynaecology from BJ Medical College (KEM and Sasson Hospitals), Pune University in December 2004. She further worked as a Lecturer in KEM Hospital Pune for 2 years after post-graduation and then went on to pursue Diploma in Gynaecological Endoscopic surgery from Bombay Endoscopy Academy and center of Minimal Access Surgery under the aegis of Late Dr. Rakesh Sinha.
Dr. Maneesha then worked for 3 years in Tata Medical Center Rural Outreach Hospital, Ratnagiri District as Consultant Gynaecologist. This hospital was a well equipped 300 bedded hospital where high volume surgical work was done in the field of benign Gynaecology, Gynae oncology and Critical Obstetrics. The hospital covered a big population being the only tertiary medical facility in 250 km radius between Mumbai & Goa. Three years in place gave a vast, varied and very high volume clinical & surgical experience under the supervision of able teachers and super-specialists.
She then moved back to Bhopal, conceptualized and established the Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery Unit, Bhopal in November 2011.
With a total experience of 16 years and exclusive experience of 12 years in laparoscopic gynecological surgery and over 5000 cases, she is committed to impart an amalgam of experience and technology to all her patients.
She is a national faculty in various endoscopic academic forums and has organized numerous live operative workshops in Bhopal, and various medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. She is also an endoscopic trainer and a life member of Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists. She has also co-authored and published articles in the prestigious indexed international journals in field of Obstetric Hemorrhage and Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions.
