Working as Professor & Head of Clinical Haematology, Haemato-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, Punjab.  

He did his MBBS and MD from CMC, Ludhiana and DM from CMC Vellore and later did MBA in hospital administration from BITS Pilani. After his DM he has set up the haematology and stem cell transplant unit in Punjab, CMC, Ludhiana. Later he did his MBA in Health and Hospital Management from Bits Pilani.  Currently, the center has an active sibling and matched unrelated donor transplant program for thalassaemia and other haematological disorders. 
His other area of interest is Haemophilia care and heads the comprehensive care centre which actively takes part in teaching and training for other haemophilia centres in Punjab.  CMC Ludhiana has a DM Clinical Haematology training program since 2019
