Dr. Bansidhar Tarai is Principal Consultant  & Head Microbiology  & Infection Control at Max Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi.
He is also the coordinator  & Head for Microbiology and Infection control services offered across Max Group of hospitals. He has more than 28 index publications (17 international , 11national) and 6 book chapters
An MD in Medical Microbiology from P.G.I.M.E.R., Chandigarh, Dr Tarai is an active member of the infection control team and plays a leading role in developing and implementing antibiotic policies for Max group of hospitals.
He is a recipient of several prestigious awards for significant his contribution toward infection control and patient safety, 6th International Patient Safety Congress (IPSC)  2016 and ABP news award  on patient safety 2016,Max healthcare “Susruta” award  2018, Healing Hands award  2015
An active member of the Hospital Infection Control Society of India and ICMR-AMR&HAI network, Executive member SIHAM(North) and past executive member of (AMM-DC).  Member of organizing committee  ISHAM 2021
