As the world wrestles with the effects of the pandemic, there is growing consensus that the COVID-19 pandemic’s effect on populations around the world goes far beyond the effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The existential changes we have made to our daily lives in the effort to reduce the spread of the infection have also resulted in the disruption of mental health services in 93% of countries worldwide, according to a WHO report, at the same time as the need for such services has never been higher.
In this webinar, CoVelocity has invited three innovators working tirelessly to make mental health services available to any person with an internet connection. By reducing the dependency for in-person healthcare provision, we share their belief that healthcare providers will be able to expand services to meet the needs of the people suffering COVID-19’s mental health effects.
Please join us to learn from Martha Ireland, Alon Joffe, and Swatee Surve as they explore the mental health impact of the pandemic, and the tools and approaches healthcare providers can adopt to meet the needs of their patients.
