MAX Institute of Medical Excellence Welcomes you to a live online course on, Sentile Lymph node biopsy (SLNB), Breast cancer.
Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy (SLNB) has become a standard staging tool in the surgical management of breast cancer. Though it has evolved over the last few decades, its usage is still limited owing to lack of proper exposure and training, long learning curve, cost of equipment, multi-departmental workup involving nuclear medicine and pathology.
This course aims at basic training on SLNB through virtual video platforms and hands-on training and is led by renowned members.
SLNB course is a 2-month staggered course aimed at training the postgraduates, residents of surgical oncology or general surgery, practising surgeons with a special interest in breast surgical oncology in SLNB procedure in Breast malignancy Cases. It includes 8 virtual lectures, This course is designed keeping in view the availability of cases and trainees time restraints.

This course is conducted and managed by the MAX Institute of Medical Excellence (MIME), New Delhi.
The course will be conducted either at max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj or Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali.

Essential Qualification:
- MCh Surgical oncology or equivalent Graduates
- MS/DNB General Surgery or Equivalent Graduates with Oncology as the field of interest.
- Surgical Oncology, MS/DNB Post Graduate residents (Presently Pursuing).
- Fellowship in Breast Surgical oncology
