Eye care is an important aspect during COVID 19 pandemic. The novel corona virus causes respiratory disorder and commonly spreads through droplets. Like other organs this virus can be transmitted to the eye and leads to ocular complications which can be prevented. During this webinar, Mrs Vidula Patil discussed on "Ocular problems arising due to COVID -19 and their preventive measures".

Mr Rohit Gupta continued to explain about "COVID-19 Personal Protective Equipment & Eye Safety", why it is important to understand and discuss the role of Protective Equipment & Eye Safety during COVID-19 pandemic. Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) are protective gears designed to safeguard the health of workers by minimizing the exposure to a biological agent. WHO has several categories depending on the level of risk. The focus is on contact and droplet precautions to prevent exposure of the nose, eyes and mouth.
