Max Institute of Medical Excellence welcomes you to a onsite course on Max Infectious Diseases Critical care Medicine International Fellowship.
Critical care medicine has evolved in many folds into a well-recognized medical speciality. The COVID situation has reiterated the need of trained critical care specialists. In ICU, patient’s infections play a major role in precipitating critical illness leading to ICU admission, complicating the ICU course and causing death.
Fostering a dual-specialized training will provide expertise to diagnose and manage the serious infections appropriately and on time, resulting in improved outcomes of critically ill patients. It will also help to be well-poised in recognizing and managing serious infectious disease outbreaks such as Covid-19.
We are excited to train talented and motivated physicians in this field and practice of Infectious Diseases Critical Care. Our Fellowship Program will provide mentorship from our stellar faculty and research opportunities under their guidance along with opportunity to work at world class ICUs.
The curriculum is designed to train fellows to become experts in the Clinical Management Of Infectious Diseases in the critical care setting. There are high rates of infection, antibiotic use and antibiotic resistance in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), which underscores the need to train infectious diseases specialists to work with critically ill and complex patients in order to drive antimicrobial stewardship and infection control in this setting.
