Module 2: Didactic session by faculty on safety, Trouble shooting and prevention of surgical complication in Total Proctocolectomy (00:13:29-00:16:40) Dr Siddharth, moderator for the session explained the case and the procedures which will be used during the surgery
Module 3: Live Surgery Demonstration: Laparoscopic Total Proctocolectomy (00:25:50-03:11:20) Dr. Prakash K, Senior Consultant, Surgical gastroenterology, Aster Medcity Cochin, started the session by explaining details of case. He explained importance of position, the steps and procedure he will be using during the surgery. Through out the session Dr Prakash was demonstrating the case, the precautions to be taken and do’s and don'ts's during the surgery. Dr Prakash also explained about various anatomical parts, arteries, muscles, and safe energy during the surgery.
Several questions were asked during the session which were answered during the live session by Dr Prakash
Module 4: Vote of thanks (03:11:21-03:17:53) At the end of the session Dr Prakash and Dr Mayuri from MLH shared vote of thanks with all the participants and panelists. Second poll was raised.
