Module 1: (00:00:00-00:04:56) Welcome Note & Introduction: Dr. Mayuri Keskar from Medical Learning Hub welcomes all the panelists and participants. The panelists were introduced and the structure of the webinar was shared. After that Dr Ashok Sirohi, Former IMA UA president, welcome all the guests and brief them about the COVID situation in Uttarakhand. The first poll was raised.
Module 2: (00:05:24-00:35:20): Herd Immunity- Preparation of 3rd wave, Dr R.A. Kudiya, starts the session by sharing insights on why is it necessary to have herd immunity, how to promote the herd immunity, variants of concern, how much vaccines are effective against delta variant, how to improve vaccine efficacy, & vaccine cocktail
Module 3: (00:35:45-01:10:45) Vaccination & Treatment, Dr Vaibhav Chachra, continued the session by explaining how virus enters the body and pathophysiology of the disease. He also explained about types of variants, children & delta wave, drugs used to treat COVID, when & where to apply the explained treatment in mild moderate to severe cases, COVID management in pregnancy, guidelines of management of COVID in children, Post COVID fibrosis, the role of mask and how to wear mask, he also named mask as social vaccines, and vaccinations. Dr. Chachra shared several videos of the subject and made it very interesting.
Module 4: (01:11:10-01:30:18) Question and Answer: Several questions were received during the session which was answered by the speakers, the Q&A session was very interactive and interesting
Module 5: Vote of Thanks: Dr. Ashok Sirohi, Former IMA UA president & Dr. Mayuri from MLH shared a vote of thanks with all the participants, panelists for participating in the webinar and Viatris for supporting the series of COVID webinars
