Dr. Santosh Kumar Mandal, President IMA Bengal State Branch welcomed all the panelists and participants. Dr. Mandal shared his insights on the COVID and its vaccination situation across the country.
Module 3: Welcome Address: Dr. Ujjwal Sengupta (00:11:12 - 00:13:18)
Dr. Ujjwal Sengupta, Immediate Past President IMA Bengal State Branch welcomed all the panelists and participants. Dr. Sengupta shared his insights on the COVID and the role of doctors during this pandemic.
Module 4: Treatment for COVID-19 by Dr. Sibabrata Banerjee, Consultant Physician, Apollo Hospitals Kolkata and Fortis Hospital, Anandapur. (00:13:18 - 01:21:33)
Dr. Bibartan Saha, Hony. Asst. Financial Secretary, IMA Bengal State shared his insights and experience in carrying out the vaccination drive right from the initial phase and the contribution of Indian Medical Association for the same. Dr. Saha then went on to introduce the first speaker to the day; Dr. Sibabrata Banerjee, Consultant Physician, Apollo Hospitals Kolkata and Fortis Hospital, Anandapur. Dr. Banerjee took the session ahead by covering the following topics:
Steroids
Anticoagulants
Remdesivir
Tocilizumab
RBD Blockers/Inhibitors
Mild, moderate and severe COVID disease.
Stages of infection
Oxygen Therapy in COVID patients.
COVID in pregnancy and lactation.
A few more topics were covered. In all the session was well explained.
Question and Answers that were asked during this session were moderated by Dr. Bibartan Saha and were answered by Dr. Sibabrata Banerjee.
Module 5: Address by Dr. Shantanu Sen (00:34:30 - 00:37:03)
Dr. Shantanu Sen, Hony State Secretary, IMA Bengal State, MP (Rajyasabha) welcomed all the panelists, and the participants to the event and thanked Mylan and MLH for the event. Dr. Sen shared his insights on the role of IMA in the battle against COVID.
Module 6: COVID-19 Vaccines by Dr. Anirban Dalui, Public health specialist, Govt of WB. (01:21:33 - 2:14:49)
Dr. Bibartan Saha, introduced Dr. Anirban Dalui, Public health specialist, Govt of WB to share his thoughts on the topic: COVID-19 Vaccines. Dr. Dalui on the outset thanked MLH and all the panelists for the event. He started this session by explaining the various phases of the vaccination drive.
During the session, Dr. Anirban Dalui covered various topics such as:

Information on available COVID Vaccines
India and COVID Vaccination
