Module 2: (00:02:58-00:20:43) Predictors of poor outcome in COVID-19: Dr. Maneendra, MBBS, MD, FNB, EDIC, Consultant-Emergency & Acute Care, Gleneagles Global Hospital, Hyderabad started the session by sharing his insights about predictors of poor outcomes. Dr. Maneendra explained in detail about age, sex, obesity, smoking, pregnancy, ACE inhibitor & ARB’s inhibitors, general comorbidities, respiratory comorbidities, and lab parameters
Module 3: (00:20:53-00:56:12) When to hospitalize on the basis on lab markers: Dr. Sandeep S, MBBS, MD, DM (Pulmonology), Consultant-Pulmonology, Gleneagles Global Hospital Bengaluru, Kengeri &Richmond Road, continued the session by a brief introduction, symptomatology, classification of COVID patient, symptoms, a difference of H1N1 & COVID-19patient. He then explained in detail about hematology and inflammatory biomarkers. In hematology, he covered lymphopenia, leukocytosis, neutrophilia, NLR, thrombocytopenia & coagulation parameters, post that he continued the session by explaining inflammatory biomarkers in which he covered CRP, PCT, IL6, LDH, ferritin levels, AST, ALT, bilirubin, creatinine, tropophin and albumin
Module 4: (00:56:31-01:18:34) Question and Answers: During the session, several questions were received which were answered by the speakers at the end of the session
