Module 2: HBA1C challenges: Dr Stuti Gupta, Consultant Biochemist & Quality Manager in Venkateshwar Hospital, Dwarka, Delhi presented about HBA1C testing in relation to laboratory challenges and unexpected results. Key points of discussion were:

Module 3: Complex case treatment in Diabetes Mellitus : Dr Anu Mathew, Consultant Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolic Disorders at Venkateshwar Hospital, Dwarka, Delhi presented on complex case treatment in DM and comorbid conditions. Key points of discussion were:

Burden of Diabetes mellitus
Complexity in the management of Diabetes
Case Scenario-1: Uncontrolled DM
Case Scenario-2 : Glucocorticoid induced hyperglycemia
