Module 2: (00:04:18-00:28:14) Therapies for COVID-19 diseases: Dr. Prashant Saxena, Associate Director and Head of Pulmonology, Critical care and Sleep Medicine at Max Smart Super specialty hospital, Saket, Delhi: Dr Saxena shared, Status of present therapies on COVID-19 and shared his clinical experience. He explained in detail about Remdesivir, Favipiravir, Ivermectin, Tocilizumab, Corticosteroids, Low molecular weight heparins, Ascorbic acid, Plasma therapy
Module 3: (00:28:56-00:52:44) Post COVID Lung damage & Treatments: Dr. DJ Christopher, President-Indian Chest Society, Professor, Department of Pulmonary Medicine, CMC Vellore, Course Director, Diploma in Allergy & Asthma (DAA): Dr Christopher explained about lung damage and treatments. He started his presentation by discussing country wise distribution of the COVID cases and how the graph is coming down. He then described projecting post pandemic SARC COVID-2 transmission. The session continued with detailed explanation about symptoms of COVID-19, case presentation, pathogenesis of pulmonary fibrosis, post COVID fibrosis, pulmonary sequelae in discharged patients. He also explained about lung function after 3 month of recovery, risk factor for pulmonary fibrosis, and recommendations for follow up post fibrosis
Module 4: (00:52:53-01:12:23) Question and Answers: Several questions were received during the session which were answered by both the speakers at the end of the session.
