Dr. Mayuri Keskar from the Medical Learning Hub (MLH) team introduced and welcomed all the panelists and participants. The poll was raised. The structure of the webinar and the general instructions were shared with the participants.
Module 2: COVID in Pregnancy (00:04:46 - 00:37:06)
Dr Anita Soni, Consultant - Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital began the session by speaking about her experience in dealing with COVID-19 patients. She beautifully walked the participants through the various aspects of COVID in pregnancy and what should be done to prevent it. She also explained the treatment protocol for COVID-19 infected pregnant women. She concluded her session by answering the questions and solving the queries raised by the participants.
Module 3: COVID vaccines and experience sharing on use of Remdesivir ( 00:37:10 - 01:03:40)
Dr Rahul Tambe, Consultant Internal Medicine Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital spoke about managing COVID-19 patients, use of Remdesivir - it’s indications and contraindications. He also shared his experience regarding dealing with various COVID-19 patients in Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital. He continued the session by speaking about the COVID-19 vaccines now available in India and also explained its indications, contraindications and complications.
Module 4: Question and Answer (01:03:44 - 01:02:24)
The participants asked various questions throughout the session which were answered by our panelists at the end of the session.
