The Indian Medical Association, Maharashtra (IMA-MS) welcomes you to a live online discussion/ webinar to understand and share the importance of organ donation. Experiences and societal benefits will be provided in lively discussions.
Dr Rajan Sancheti (Family Physician and IMA Pune Secretary), will moderate and introduce the panelist who consist of IMA-Maharashtra president Dr Avinash Bhondwe, Dr Sanjay Pathare (Surgeon and chief coordinator of Ruby Hall Pune), Dr Vinay Koparker (Consultant physician) Shri Sunil Deshpande (Federation Of Body &Organ Donation), Mrs Arti Gokhale’s (Chief Transplant Coordinator, Pune), Dr Arun Hable (Anesthesiologist) and Dr Sanjeev Datye (Consulting General Surgeon).
After the introductions to panelists, Dr. Bhondwe will describe the subject and its unique benefit as a gift of life to patients and in creating a humane society. The webinar will be followed by Dr Sanjay Pathare who will be addressing about what is organ donation, when and how it should be done and then Dr Vinay Koparkar will be sharing his experience about organ transplantation. Shri Sunil Deshpande will share his experiences, after which Mrs Arti Gokhale’s will describe the function and role of organ donation. The webinar will be continued by Dr Arun Hable and Dr Sanjeev Datye who will share work experiences and their unique perspectives on body & organ donation and transplant.
