Mr. Ankur Desai from Ethicon introduced and welcomed Dr. Divyesh Shukla and the participants. The poll was raised. The structure of the webinar and the general instructions were shared with the participants before handing over the stage to Dr. Divyesh Shukla.
Module 2: Laparoscopic pectopexy, principles, and surgical steps. (00:03:08 - 00:47:13)
Dr. Divyesh Shukla, Director of ISHA Hospital started the session. Dr. Shukla discussed the treatment for apical prolapse of the vagina by laparoscopic pectoplexy. Various literature related to the topic were shared. The surgical steps were explained in detail including the trocar positions. Various videos were shown to elucidate the steps and the procedures. Why too tight mesh placement is not advised was explained. Various meshes which are available in the market were listed out and spoken about in detail. The advantages of using a pectineal ligament suspension were discussed by Dr. Divyesh Shukla during this session. Many questions were raised during the session which were moderated by Mr. Ankur Desai and answered by Dr. Divyesh Shukla.
Module 3: Laparoscopic excision of the dermoid cyst, point to avoid intraperitoneal spillage of sebaceous contents. (00:47:13 - 01:12:12)
Dr. Divyesh Shukla spoke about the dermoid cyst. He mentioned what the patient must be informed before performing the surgery. Literature on spillage was shared, Dr. Divyesh also shared his thoughts on the literature shared. What should be done in case of spillage was spoken about by Dr. Divyesh Shukla. He explained surgical steps in detail. What must be taken care to avoid complications were also explained. Various videos were shown to elucidate the steps and the procedures. The questions raised were answered by Dr. Divyesh Shukla after the session.
Module 4: Post Hysterectomy benign adnexal masses, adhesiolysis, and adenectomy.

Dr. Divyesh Shukla started the session by sharing literature on the topic in discussion and his views on it. The surgical steps were shared in detail. What must be taken care of while performing the surgery to avoid complications was explained. Various videos were shown to elucidate the steps and the procedures. What unnecessary shearing forces do and how to avoid it while performing adhesiolysis was shared. The questions raised by the attendees were answered by Dr. Divyesh Shukla after the session. The importance of evidence-based treatments was also shared in this session.
